I am a fully qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I specialise in person-centred therapy and work integratively, tailoring my approach to meet each client’s individual needs and circumstances.
Alongside my private practice, I currently work as a therapist on the BetterHelp mental health online platform, providing online and telephone counselling to clients across the UK and internationally. I have also gained extensive experience working within specialist services, including domestic abuse organisations and children’s mental health settings, which has informed my sensitive and inclusive approach to therapy with clients from diverse backgrounds.
I hold a degree in Educational Counselling & Sciences, followed by a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have also completed an MSc in Psychology with Wrexham Glyndŵr University, further strengthening my academic and clinical understanding of psychological theory and practice. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly engage in CPD training, workshops, and seminars to ensure my work remains ethical, informed, and responsive to current developments in the field. This commitment enables me to offer thoughtful, effective and compassionate support within the therapeutic relationship.

This may be your first experience of therapy, and you may not know where to begin or what to say. It is also common to feel uncomfortable at first or to find it difficult to be fully open and vulnerable with a therapist. I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, as it often involves stepping into a process where meaningful change may take place. My aim is to help you feel comfortable and supported, recognising that starting a healing journey is not always easy.
Healing and change can happen when there is a genuine desire to do things differently, alongside a willingness to engage in the work needed to bring about that change. From a person-centred perspective, I recognise that we are the experts of our own lives and believe that we all have the capacity for growth and change.
You may find that talking to someone who listens in a warm and non-judgemental way can be helpful. I offer a safe, containing and supportive space where you can bring whatever feels important to you, at any point in time. I will also support you in recognising patterns and behaviours that may have originated in the past and are affecting your present life, helping to develop greater self-awareness and improve your relationships, so you can move towards a more authentic and fulfilling way of being.
“THE CURIOUS PARADOX IS THAT WHEN I ACCEPT MYSELF JUST AS I AM, THEN I CHANGE.”
